She’s a beauty queen inside and out! Meet Dr. Ann Nivens, winner of the 2025 Ms. North Carolina Senior America pageant. Ann recently caught our eye when we saw her featured in the August 2025 issue of Lake Norman Currents magazine. In addition to unveiling her success on the pageant circuit, the article captured her passion for education, child advocacy, entrepreneurship, music and making a positive difference in the world. With such a fascinating and diverse background, we felt that Ann would be the perfect choice to represent CoCo Couture. Ann’s list of accomplishments is long and impressive. She began her career as an educator in 1976, serving as a teacher and educational leader for over 40 years. In 2006, she earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University and holds both Principal and Superintendent certifications.
