HISTORY OF JUMPSUITS

The 1st jumpsuit was made in 1919. The jumpsuit made it's way from professional aviators and race car drivers to the cat walk in Paris. Thanks to CoCo Chanel and Hollywood's leading ladies wearing them on the big screen.
In the 1940's the jumpsuit was called overalls or (coveralls) with the fitted waist, long or short sleeves they became a daily staple for women at work or at home.
1970's brought a different type of jumpsuit. It brought the bohemian flavour, glam and skin tight. You would see them on people that would go to Studio 54, along with the 70's icons.
