CoCo Couture 2020: A Year in Review

As far as ups and downs go, 2020 takes the cake! At the beginning of the year, we couldn’t foresee any of the turmoil that individuals, families and small businesses would face. But at the end of the year, instead of focusing on the downfalls, we are choosing to celebrate by reflecting on all of the good we experienced. We’re proud of our accomplishments and have much to be grateful for.

One of our biggest accomplishments was the opportunity to meet and get to know many spectacular women through our Top Model campaign. By inviting local business women to model clothing for the boutique and publish their stories on our blog, our campaign enabled these women to experience fashion and business promotion on an entirely different level. It gave them a platform on which to feel good about themselves — something that makes all the difference, especially amid such a stressful and uncertain time.

In 2020, we had 31 models participate in photo shoots at our boutique. This was 31 opportunities to get to know our customers better and lift them up in a truly empowering way. Here are the names of the models that graced our marketing campaigns over the past year.

Openings for 2021

The good news is that the Top Model campaign will continue in 2021. If you’re a business owner in the Lake Norman area and are interested in participating, we look forward to hearing from you. To get started, send an email to cococoutureinfo@gmail.com with your name and a brief bio about you. Our Marketing Manager will then connect with you and set up an appointment to have your photo shoot at the boutique.

Fine Jewelry Lands in Lake Norman

The Top Model campaign wasn’t our only hit. In November of 2020, we introduced our customers to Julie Vos fine jewelry and the response has been incredible. In the Lake Norman area, there has been a gap in the luxury jewelry market, so we’re glad to be able to fill it with a brand that speaks to women’s desires for subtle sophistication, timeless style and enduring quality. Offering this stunning new brand was the perfect way for us to bring a touch of sparkle to our customers’ lives. To unveil Julie Vos’ Spring 2021 collection to our customers, CoCo Couture will host a trunk show on February 11-14.
