It's Not a Number -- It's an Attitude

Erika Erlenbach hit our radar when we heard that she became the new volunteer chair of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. CoCo Couture has been a Chamber member for years and we recognize the value of this indispensable resource to our business and its nearly 900 members in the Lake Norman area. It was with open arms that we welcomed Erika, a partner with Ascension Law in Charlotte, for a Saturday afternoon photo shoot and style session at our boutique.

To borrow from Erika's quote in her recent Business Today NC interview about Chamber membership: "It's not a number -- it's an attitude." The same can be said about our photo shoots at CoCo Couture, for which we invite local women. Some invitees initially balk at the thought of getting in front of the camera. Sometimes, that hesitation is due to roadblocks in their own head, like the belief that they're not at their ideal weight. However, we assure women that being a CoCo model is not about what size you are, it's about the attitude you bring. For the many women who say 'yes' to the opportunity, they walk away with more pep in their step and feeling astounded at how much fun they had, proving that the experience is not about numbers. Thanks for the apt message and inspiration, Erika!

Erika had no hesitation about modeling for CoCo Couture and brought the same self-assurance to her photo shoot that she brings to everything she does.
