Authentic Style, Authentic Life

Realtor Erin Ficenec recently visited CoCo Couture to be our model of the month. When it comes to style, Erin confidently pulls off the relaxed-chic look in a way that’s fun, yet feminine. But as we soon found out, Erin’s so much more than her cool-girl vibe. From work to family, she puts grace and authenticity first. In other words, she’s as genuine in her fashion choices as she is in life. Here’s a little bit more about Erin:

High Achiever

On her first try, Erin passed the national and North Carolina real estate exams. Erin took this achievement as a sign from the universe that she made the right career choice. She currently helps buyers and sellers in Lake Norman and the surrounding community.

Faith and Patience

Erin credits her family’s support with her career success and personal growth. Her family includes husband Mike, a pediatrician for Novant Health Huntersville, and four children: Skyla, Zack, Joseph and Kate. Their family circle wouldn’t be complete without two cats named Mae and Grayson, and a guinea pig named Fiona.

Just Jeans

When it comes to style, Erin goes for casual elegance. Jeans and sneakers feel not only comfortable, but authentic to who she is. Her AG Jeans and white Golden Goose sneakers are two favorites.

Go-to Date Night

Kindred in Davidson is Erin’s go-to date night restaurant. For dinner: Fried oysters with yogurt dill sauce and seasonal hamachi.

Stay-at-Home Style

When it’s time for family movie night, Erin unwinds in the coziest essentials. Her favorite film: Forest Gump.

She’s a Warrior 

In October of 2000, Erin survived a major car crash. Her recovery included nine hours of surgery, several months in a wheelchair and rehabilitation to re-learn how to walk. Erin now enjoys hot Pilates classes on a regular basis and has run a half marathon.

“If I could give my younger self advice, I would say, do your best every day. Give yourself the grace to learn from your mistakes so you can live your most authentic life.”  

Vision

Erin had the pleasure of attending “Oprah's 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus,” a one-day seminar that guided participants to manifest their dreams. With a happy family and successful real estate career, we think she has been able to do just that!
