Spartina 449 NEW ARRIVAL!

We have a brand NEW designer coming to CoCo Couture and I'm positive that y'all will just fall in LOVE with what this designer brings to the table! I'm talking about clutches, cover ups and skorts! Captivating colors, irresistible style—it was only natural that a mermaid became our insignia! The Spartina 449 mermaid is inspired by tales of sailors who, after a night of indulging in island spirits, gazed into the moonlit ocean, convinced they saw mermaids swimming nearby. More than likely, they were actually swooning over local dolphins!

For us, however, the legend is real. We incorporate an authentic Spartina mermaid into every product either as the logo charm, as a separate charm, or on the inside pocket.
More durable than commonly used cotton, the exterior linen on Spartina’s handbags is additionally protected with a water and stain resistant coating. Combine this with Spartina’s eco-friendly, water-based inks, and the result is a faithfully crafted and luxurious line of stylish linen handbags and accessories.

The fabric that graces every Spartina 449 handbag follows the same linen tradition that began over 30,000 years ago with ancient Egyptians. It’s the same technique that has evolved into today’s French and Belgian linens, woven by specially commissioned artisans who create Spartina’s intricate signature weaves. 

Spartina 449 donates a portion of its proceeds to the Daufuskie Island Historical Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to education, scientific discovery and charity for the purpose of the preservation of the cultural heritage of Daufuskie.
