This week, we are incredibly honored to introduce our newest CoCo Couture Top Model, Lana Hein.

For CoCo Couture owner Candace, this feature is especially meaningful. Lana isn’t just a beautiful customer or model—she’s family in every way that matters. Affectionately known as “Mamma Lana,” she has been a trusted friend, mentor, and constant source of encouragement. Her grace, wisdom, and genuine love for people embody everything CoCo Couture stands for.

A Life Built on Purpose

Originally born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, Lana later became a proud United States citizen. Throughout her life, she has worn many hats—marketing professional, entrepreneur, business owner, philanthropist, mentor, and community leader.

One of the guiding principles she lives by is beautifully simple:

“Live life to the fullest, treat everyone you meet with respect, follow your faith, and know your truth.”

That philosophy shines through in every conversation, every friendship, and every act of kindness she shares.

A Love Story 57 Years in the Making

One of the greatest blessings in Lana’s life has been her marriage to her husband, Tom.

This year they celebrate an incredible 57 years of marriage—a beautiful testament to love, commitment, friendship, and unwavering support.

Together they have built a wonderful family, traveled the world, and now enjoy one of life’s sweetest gifts—spending time with their grandchildren. Their journey reminds us that true style never fades, and neither does genuine love.

A Heart for Serving Others

Long before community involvement became fashionable, Lana was already dedicating her life to making a difference.

Her volunteer work has included:

• Make-A-Wish Foundation
• Charlotte Junior League
• Junior League of Palos Verdes Estates
• Programs helping young girls build confidence and self-esteem
• Work alongside Mrs. Eunice Kennedy Shriver supporting the early organization of the Special Olympics in North Carolina

Helping others has never been a hobby for Lana—it’s simply who she is.

An Entrepreneur with Endless Creativity

Lana’s entrepreneurial journey is just as inspiring as her charitable work.

After creating her own interdisciplinary college major at San Francisco University, she went on to build several successful businesses.

One of her favorite ventures was opening Magnifique Chocolatier in Los Gatos, California, where she imported fine chocolates from Belgium, France, and Switzerland while designing all of her own packaging.

Later, she founded PMG Marketing, serving nationally recognized companies including:

• Toyota
• Honda
• Mattel
• RR Donnelley Financial
• AFFA

…and many other corporate and community organizations.

Her career has been fueled by creativity, innovation, and a genuine passion for people.

A Life Filled with Adventure

Lana and Tom have traveled extensively around the world, creating unforgettable memories together.

One adventure took them to the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa, where a sudden flash flood stranded travelers overnight. Thanks to Tom’s calm leadership and quick thinking, they safely navigated washed-out roads before finally reaching their destination.

It’s a story Lana shares with gratitude—and one that perfectly reflects the courage, resilience, and adventurous spirit that have defined her life.

Timeless Style

When asked what she would wear to a gala, Lana’s answer was immediate:

“A shade of pink.”

It’s a perfect reflection of her personality—classic, elegant, feminine, and full of confidence.

Whether she’s dressed for a special occasion or enjoying a casual afternoon, Lana believes fashion should flatter, inspire confidence, and allow every woman to express who she truly is.

One thing she says with a smile?

“I love shoes! Most important!”
