North Carolina is set to enter Phase 1 of our reopening period this Friday, and that means many nonessential businesses like retail stores (and boutiques!) can start reopening to the public. And while that’s so exciting for us here at CoCo Couture in Cornelius, we’re also so glad that more people will finally be able to get back to work and continue doing the things they love. To celebrate, today we’ll be looking at 5 of our top back to work outfits and closet staples every lady should own.
A classic black top
When it comes to creating simple, elegant work outfits, a well-made black blouse is the perfect base to start from. Not only is black flattering on everyone, it pairs well with almost any other color. In the warmer months, pair a classic black top like this with a fitted skirt, or layer under a blazer for a more formal look!
A daytime dress
Along with her favorite blouses and trousers, every woman needs an office-appropriate daytime dress to layer under a blazer or wear as-is in the summer months. We love this dress in particular for its flattering fit and unique ruffle collar that will accentuate any necklace.

Plain black trousers can get boring day after day. That’s why we love mixing up our back to work wardrobes a bit with a few pairs of stylish printed pants.
