Full-Throttle Fashion

September 24, 2020 -- Racecar driver Amber Balcaen knows how to perform on the dirt track. But to see how she'd perform on the fashion track, we invited her to a CoCo Couture photo shoot. As it turns out, she channeled the same cool confidence and determined focus in front of the camera as she does behind the wheel. At the boutique, Amber quickly revved things up by choosing silky tie-waist jumpsuits, upscale black joggers, an embellished moto jacket and a gunmetal gray sweater. Here are her top five favorite combos:

Midnight Madness

Amber grabbed this embellished moto jacket, instantly taking her silk jumpsuit from refined to renegade.

During her photo shoot, Amber opened up about her everyday style (simple: jeans and tees), her return to racing (after a lengthy recovery following a race-related accident) and her future (she’s engaged!).

Even dirt track racers like to put their feet up and enjoy some occasional pampering. After her photo shoot, Amber stocked up on organic skincare from DIY, body lotion and a scented candle.
