Meet global goddess and CoCo model of the week Beatrice Carter. 

Born in Zambia, Beatrice has lived a jet-setting life most women could only dream of. Discovered at the age of 18 by a fashion scout in Johannesburg, South Africa, she worked as a fashion model before starting her own advertising agency and her own family. She has two daughters and three grandchildren.

Lucky for us, Beatrice now calls the Lake Norman area home. She visits CoCo Couture often to check out our new selection of her go-to brands from Canada: Frank Lyman, Joseph Ribkoff and ByLyse. 

For Beatrice's photo shoot, we changed things up. We invited her to bring some of the vintage items created by these three Canadian designers from her own closet. We want to prove how perfectly the style and quality of these brands hold up over the years. Beatrice has owned some of these pieces for nearly 20 years! Check them out:

Cold-Shoulder Frank Lyman Dress
