HISTORY OF JUMPSUITS
The first jumpsuit was made in 1919. The jumpsuit made it's way from professional aviators and race car drivers to the cat walk in Paris, thanks to CoCo Chanel and Hollywood's leading ladies wearing them on the big screen.
In the 1940's the jumpsuit was called overalls or coveralls. With the fitted waist and long or short sleeves, they became a daily staple for women at work or at home.
The 1970's introduced several different types of jumpsuits. Many had a bohemian flavor, glam and often were skin tight. They were popular with the "in crowd" at Studio 54 in NYC and with many of the 70's icons.
Today's jumpsuits are cool, chic and timeless with iconic silhouettes. And they embrace the adventurous spirit of the jumpsuit with attitude and confidence. Who wouldn't want to have least one in their closet. #ROCKTHEJUMPSUIT.COM
